Ok all, this is my first attempt at submitting a few images to the Lens-Artist Challenge. I picked up on this after checking out Leanne Coles blog, after Leanne had been kind enough to like one of my posts. I’m pretty much new to WordPress, let alone blogging, and still struggling a bit with both. However I thought this was a great idea and wanted to take part. I hope I don’t mess it all up.
So, I’ve worked out the challenge has been set by Leya who’s asking for a few pictures that might make you smile. This is my interpretation of that theme.

Greetings Steve and welcome to our challenge. I loved your post and every one of your images did indeed make me smile. The little one in your opener looks a bit like ET walking behind a normal-sized human 😊, it’s adorable as it the little girl looking askance at who I assume is her big brother. And the British couple in the rain is priceless. Very well done!
Thank you Tina 🙂
Welcome to LAPC Steve. Your pictures made me smile, especially the couple sitting at the beach and refusing to give up. I hope you’ll become a regular.
Thank you Anne. They were drenched 🙂
Drenched but happy!
Steve, thanks for bringing smiles with your post. Those are great photos. I loved the gallery, and I must admit that the beach scene brought memories of a stroll we had on a Texas beach in the winter. Welcome to the Lens-Artists Challenge. I look forward to seeing more of your excellent photos.
Welcome to our challenge Steve, and what a wonderful start, these great photos, the first two images are so real and fun. English summer 😀 and the coat following the lady – there is something relatable in that. Hope to see you again 🙂
Thank you Ritva 🙂
Hi Steve. A warm welcome from another Lens-Artist! Your photos are terrific. A great response to the challenge! I love all of them. So funny, so human, and so revealing of each personality.
Thank you Patti, I’m glad you liked them. Your comment did come through. I’ve just been a bit slow catching up 🙂
No worries!
Hi Steve. I’m not sure my first comment was registered, so here we go again! I’m another lens artist welcoming you to our challenge. Your post was terrific! You captured moments that reveal so much about each person and are wonderfully human. I hope to see more of your work!
Wonderful images, Steve.
Thank you Rupali 🙂
A big welcome smile, Steve! I am still smiling – you found the perfect photos for this challenge. The ladies on the beach are priceless! We drove around for three weeks in Britain in the 80’s and we had rain all the way. These ladies made me remember…and the cold I caught was severe.
Love them all – a quiet sense of humour 💙 Welcome back!
Thank you Leya. We get more rain than ever these days 😕
Here too…but no floodings so far.
Welcome to the blogging world. You did a great job finding these images.
Thank you Teresa 🙂
Greetings, Steve! Thanks for joining the challenge. Your photos truly meet the challenge theme, and they made me smile, especially the first image!
Thank you John 🙂
Hi Steve and welcome to the Lens-Artists Challenge and to blogging in general. I’m so glad you did, you found some gems for this theme, my favourite being the last one. That look says it all, doesn’t it?
Thank you Sofia, yes she definitely wore her feelings on her face 🙂
